Проработана статья Arthur Sherbo "Christopher Smart's Knowledge of Occult Literature". Есть несколько важных добавлений к комментариям и несколько неважных. Укрепило меня в герменоклазме: «Need a poet who can write that "the nets come down from the eyes of the Lord to fish up men to their salvation" be held to a source for every line he writes?» «Is nothing, then, to be allowed the poet's imagination, sane or disordered?»
