Report: UK intelligence confident Israel holding the right Irishman

LONDON
British intelligence sources are insisting there is no mistake over the information they passed to Israel about John Morgan, who is suspected of having traveled to Israel to instruct Palestinian terrorists in bomb-making techniques, according to a report in the Guardian here Wednesday.
Morgan, also known by his Irish name, Sean O Muireagain, was arrested by Israeli security forces near Ramallah last Saturday, after receiving a tip-off from their British counterparts.
While the Israeli security forces have apparently concluded that they have the "wrong" John Morgan, Whitehall sources have told the London-based paper there was no mistake over the information they supplied.
Family and friends insist that Morgan is simply an Irish language expert who went to the Palestinian areas to set up a cultural exchange program, while the editor of the Gaelic-language newspaper, La, say he was reporting for them. They have called for his immediate release.
